Custom Words in Monkeys in Jeopardy
Add your own words to Monkeys in Jeopardy using the Custom words mode to teach your children to spell and type at the same time. For example, add words to help them review the vocabulary they learn in school. You could even choose terms related to their favorite topic, funny words or their friends’ names—the options are endless!
Note — With the Home Edition, only the primary user can create a list of words.
How to Add or Edit a Custom Word List
Add custom words in the Monkeys in Jeopardy settings.
- Click My settings on the app’s homepage.
- Click the Monkeys in Jeopardy section.
- Enter your custom words in the editable text field.
- Click Save.

Use commas, spaces or carriage returns to separate words. Each word cannot be longer than 40 characters. Enter only single words; do not use expressions or articles. For example, if you enter the leaf, the and leaf will be treated as two separate words.
To edit your words, return to your settings and change them, then click Save.
Custom Words Mode
Launch Monkeys in Jeopardy and select the Custom words mode. Swing to the monkeys’ rescue by typing your custom words to lower the vines.
